This animation for Disney's new Trading Card Game (TCG) Lorcana was created using a combination of Clip Studio Paint and After Effects. The initial stages involved utilizing Clip Studio Paint for the creation of rough sketches and clean lines, ensuring precision in character design and scene composition. Then thrown into After Effects to enhance the animation, introducing dynamic backgrounds and card animations. Special effects such as sparkles and a polished logo reveal.
I drew inspiration from a specific card within the game (Shown to the right), the final product demonstrates a fusion of technical proficiency, creative innovation, and an acute attention to detail, resulting in a visually compelling representation of the Lorcana universe within the context of a Disney TCG.
